The team at Orita is overjoyed to announce that we’ve

  • Publicly launched the Orita Platform

  • Released the first iteration of our Orita Grow product

  • Convinced a set of wonderful people to be formal advisors to Orita

  • Raised $3.5M from a group of amazing investors

Orita was founded years ago to solve any and every hard data science problem for retailers and brands. But in the great Fall of 2023, we turned it into a software company (oooo!), helping a dozen brands like Caraway and Italic and Made by Mary save money (ahhhhh!) by leveraging Machine Learning (whoa!!!!!!).

Fast forward to today and after 8 months in market we’re a team of 12 serving over 100 brands, across multiple email service providers and ecommerce platforms, and partnered with literally dozens of the top email and retention marketing agencies in the world. Huzzah.

We’re no longer focused on saving brands money. Anyone could save you money by saying, “um, well, just don’t email people”. But that would be, as the kids call it, cray-c. You need to spend some money and take some risk, in order to earn the reward of growing your brand.

Brands used to have to clean their email lists (“Sally hasn’t opened an email in a while, let’s stop messaging her altogether”). But now they’re able to optimize their lists (“Sally hasn’t clicked; let’s put her in do-not-disturb mode and watch the data for when she wants to hear from us again”).

How do we do it? Machine learning! Yes, our website is a “.ai” domain, and yes, we have real honest-to-goodness machine learning engineers on our team. If you loved TI-83’s as a kid, you’re going to love what ML can do for you.

We build custom data models for every single brand we serve. In fact, our average customer has over 80,000,000 data points that we use to them email only their most engaged fans.

What happens when you send the right message to the right person at the right time?

  • You land in the inbox, not spam. When you send to “more engaged” customers, Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook, etc. look on you kindly, and let your emails hit the inbox, not spam

  • You don’t waste money or subscribers. When you oversend to unengaged folks you waste a bit of money, but more importantly you lose some future sales. Don’t push fans to unsubscribe because you’re, well, being a little too much.

  • You stop sending to bots. We’re good at finding not-humans. Leave the robots alone.

  • You make 👏 more 👏 sales 👏.
