Growing Your eCommerce Store: Keep the Main Thing, the Main Thing

As Shopify’s recent move to offload its tangential logistics business clearly shows, sometimes it’s best to stick with what you know.  Investors cheered the move, which offers a lesson to the platform’s retailers: focus = profit. According to Shopify CEO Tobi Lutke, “We are changing the shape of Shopify significantly today to pay unshared attention to our mission.”

It’s easy to get excited about the next big thing. And sometimes, the next big thing really can lead to groundbreaking advancement for your business.
